Community of Faiths Against Aids in Africa (COFAA) | Grandmothers to Grandmothers (GForce)
Dear Artist
You are cordially invited to participate in the COFAA / Gforce Art & Crafts Show & Sale to be held at the Pickering Islamic Centre Saturday, September 25th & Sunday, September 26th. The two-day event is being sponsored by our multi-faith organization in the Durham Region and the Whitby Chapter of Grandmothers to Grandmothers (GForce) ( COFAA consists of Islamic, Hindu, Bahai, Christian, and Jewish congregations from across the Durham Region. ) Proceeds to benefit the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
Benefits to Artists
The event is free and open to the public. This event presents a wonderful opportunity for artists to reach multi-faith groups, their families, friends and associates who will be attending from across the Durham Region. (This event will be promoted in local media.)
How to Apply
Applications from artists and craftspeople are being accepted now on a first come first accepted basis. Please note the following restriction: Due to the religious beliefs of certain groups art or crafts can NOT depict a human or animal form.
With your application please specify the type of art or craft you wish to display.
Applications open
Wednesday, July 28th and continue until all 25 available booths are filled.
Exhibit Pricing
The $65 reservation fee ( includes table and chair ) for both days of the show. An additional 10% fee for sales of $500 ( or greater).
Note: All proceeds collected will be donated by GForce to the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
